PRIDE celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and honors the Stonewall Riots, a pivotal event that ignited the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement. For over 50 years, Pride has amplified LGBTQ+ voices worldwide.
Shine on, Gem City
Dayton Pride, hosted by the Greater Dayton LGBT Center, continues to grow from its first humble parade, drawing thousands from across the Miami Valley. The celebration creates a safe environment for members of our community to express themselves without fear of hate and to experience queerness as being the default as opposed to the exception, while helping to raise awareness and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our Civil Rights are on the line
While we celebrate decades of progress this June, queer people are still at risk. The Gem City LGBTQ+ community — and its allies — need to stand up and present the strongest showing of support for our families, our neighbors, and ourselves.
